CURRICULUM & TRAINING

Structure.
All sessions follow a simple structure centered on one topic with the following three phases: warm up activity, small sided conditioned practice, and full game practice. Sessions will be constructed around technical topics such as turning with the ball, receiving, finishing, etc. as well as tactical topics such as developing the game from the backfield, positional awareness, etc

Staying with the ball.
We encourage “risk taking” and trying difficult things within the practice along with specific coaching on “where and when” to perform these skills.

Limiting time and space.
It is our commitment that practice must resemble the game. In technical and tactical training we emphasize limiting time and space. This is critical to develop decision making as well as technical skill.
